Max, a young writer living in London, is struggling to find his voice and overcome his financial difficulties. In an effort to gain real-life experience for his debut novel, he decides to work as a sex worker, believing this will give him a unique perspective on human intimacy and relationships. As he begins this double life, Max quickly finds that it is far more complicated than he expected. The emotional toll of his job begins to weigh heavily on him, and he finds it increasingly difficult to separate his personal life from his work.
